Ray De Mers and the Blue Rays
We play blues, we usually start in the 1920s and work our way forward playing different styles by different artists and some of our original music also. I have played in bands for over 60 years all over the United States in Europe and Australia. This band has been together for about five years. The members of the band are as follows:
Ray De Mers: Vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and Mandolin
Zene Gurley: harmonica
Ron Laub: five string electric bass
David Meeker: Drums and percussion
We will be playing from 6 PM until 8 PM but if people are still dancing and hanging around we will play up till 8:30 if needed. We are very excited to play at the festival! Last year the harmonica player Zene, and myself played and people enjoyed it very much this year we have the whole band we’re looking forward to rocking out and getting people on their feet to dance those they don’t wanna dance can just enjoy the music.
