Plein Air artists Juried Paint Out
Entry is open to all artists who register by Aug 2 [$50 Members/$80 non-Members] — palmerlakeartgroup.com.
PLAG members and painters are hosting plein air painters from the Pikes Peak Water Color Society, Plein Air Painters of Colorado and the Castle Rock Artist Alliance, and other artists who register, all in the spirit of Chautauqua for its inaugural “Paint the Lake” event. Artists will be spread out in the Palmer Lake to create either landscape or townscape scenes for competition of over $1000 in awards for first-third place. Painters may enter their artwork in the “Wet Paint” section of the PLAG Art Sale during that afternoon.
