Home automation can do a lot more than just turn your lights on and off. In this talk and workshop, we’ll explore the different ways to do home automation.
In the first hour, we’ll talk about the different devices and how they talk to each other, from super simple to do-it-yourself systems.
In the second hour, we’ll go into more detail for those that are interested in a more do-it-yourself approach using Home Assistant – a completely free and open source ecosystem that lets you build your own home automation system.
