Dance for all Abilities: A movement class to engage participants’ minds and bodies in a creative, fun, and social environment. Elements of music, imagery, and narrative inspire artistry and grace, while awakening balance, flexibility, coordination, cognition and creativity. This class will begin seated and move to standing, with the option to remain seated.

Laura Hymers Treglia leads the Dance for Parkinson’s program at Ormao and co-teaches Dancing Your Stories for Elders at Hillside Community Center. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Laura began her dance career in NYC, performing with the Tiffany Mills Company, and numerous independent contemporary choreographers. She was Director of Education for the Trisha Brown Dance Company and Pascal Rioult Dance Theatre. Laura is dedicated to sharing the benefits of movement and dance as a performer, teacher and Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner®.
